AG Equipment

Whether you are putting seed, or a transplant into the ground, for the commercial grower we have proven methods of accomplishing both.

RTME-1100 Semi-Automatic Vegetable Transplanter

First, the Renaldo Semi-Automatic Transplanter. If you’re putting plants through plastic mulch, this vegetable transplanter uses a single injector mounted to a standard tool bar that is capable of burning a hole in the plastic, injecting the seedling into the ground through that hole, packing the plant firmly into the ground, and adding water to the plant set which flushes the hole closed, firmly rooting the plant into the soil.

One operator per planting head pulls plants for a mounted storage rack and inserts the seedling into a rotating carousel. Each individual plant is then literally injected into the planting bed, through the plastic at a rate of 3,600 seedlings per hour, per row. The standard configurations are one, two, three, or six rows. Customer configurations are also available, based on your exact row configuration.

Agricultural Transplanter

  • 1 RTME1100 planting head per row
  • 1 Tool bar constructed of either 4” or 6” rectangular tubing with CAT I or II hitch connection that utilizes your existing 3-point hitch
  • 1 Ground wheel drive assembly, 2, 3, or 4 drive tires (depending on planter size) 760-15-6 ply traction bar type
  • 1 Stand-Up workstation running the full width of your planter
  • 3 Plant storage racks per planting head
  • 1 Automatic hydraulic depth control system per row
  • 1 In-row spacing sprocket (your choice)
  • Propane hole burner & tank bracket: 3 different hole sizes available: 1-1/2, 2, 2-½, or 3″ diameter
  • Water Injection System: Provides approximately 1/2 cup of water and/or liquid fertilizer to each hole at timed intervals
  • Water Injection System: Hydraulic or electric water pump, plumbing and shower head
  • Reciprocating packer: Wheels gently apply pressure to the hole for a firm plant set
  • Hitch: Universal CAT-ALL 3-point hitch connections that fit all known tractor configurations; Lateral slide adjustment allows planting heads to be offset on the row
  • Carousel tube size: Custom sizes can accommodate up to a 4″ pot
  • Stake marker kit: Marks location of a stake by puncturing a small hole in plastic

GVB520 Pneumatic Metered Seed Planter

Simplicity in Motion

A single row GVB520 seed planter injects a seed into the ground every half-second, approximately 7,200 hills per hour, either through plastic mulch covered beds, or directly into bare ground. For vegetable row crops where one to nine row configurations are required, planting heads may be positioned at any point along the length of the tool bar. All planters come fully assembled and set up to your specifications.

At the heart of this planter is our patented Posi-Flow™ Ground Engaging System which has been in commercial use since 1988. We utilize the precision, Italian made, Gaspardo® seed singulator which delivers a precise number of seed to our patented ground engaging system.

The GVB520 performs four functions at once. The first step involves a propane fired turbo torch that pre-burns a hole into the plastic mulch. Next, the planting jaw inserts a precise number of seeds (one to two average) into the ground directly through the center of the pre-burned hole. The packer wheel comes in behind it to pack the seed into the hole. The last step involves a water nozzle that dispenses approximately 1/4 cup of water, or liquid fertilized to flush the hole closed, sealing the seed into the ground. Each burst of water is timed to the hole, eliminating waste.

RRC1648 Rotary Refuse Chopper

Reuse your plastic mulch covers planting beds.

When preparing a bed for the second, or even third crop, this unique rotary chopper makes removing depleted tomato, cucumber, pepper, or just about any other variety of plant on existing plastic covered (raised or flat) beds possible.

Adjustable in one-inch increments, from one to 19 inches, this chopper is also practical on less than perfect ground conditions; and, in all types of soils including sand, and gravel. At the end of the season, and prior to picking up the plastic, refuse is discharged on both sides of the unit making in-row clean up fast and easy.

Recurved, reversible carbon steel cutting blades protect the rotary blade assembly from abrasion and ware. This new design allows the operator to set the cutting height closer to the top of the bed, without running the rotary assembly too close to the plastic, or dirt. An anti-scalp roller follows the contour of bed.
